Oi! Am I the only one wot finks Wimbledon is boring these days?
Another Wimbledon ladies final – another Williams sisters final. It was a novelty to begin wiv a few years ago but now it’s boring.
Another men’s singles final, another final wiv Roger Federer – one of the leading candidates for the most boring man in the world.
Wot’s happened to all the characters in the game?
I remember watching the likes of McEnroe, Connors, Nastase, Becker, Cash and Agassi in the old days – those blokes had personality and that goes a long way to keeping people entertained.
All we got now are a bunch of robots.
Even the birds were entertaining in the old days. I usedta love watching Chris Evert cos I woz in love wiv her. And even Martina Navratilova looks like a party animal compared to the female robots around these days.
I reckon they should rename it Wimblebore cos it sends me to sleep!
