plz suggest a good tour operator for chennai to tirupathi in one day including foot walk on mountain.where can i book tickets for the same?
you can book ticket with ttdc they have a one day tour including food, but if you want to climb the steps of the tirumala then you can do one thing as soon as bus come to tirupati you have to get down before the bus goes to tiruchanur get a auto to alipari (the start point of climbing mountain) and you have to reach there by three to 4 hours as in the mean time the ttdc bus will go to tiruchanur and then for lunch and after that all the passanger will go by a special enternce at tirumala .by the time you can join the bus at tirumala. for that you will need the help of driver if he agree you can do this .
otherwise you can book a ticket at chennai ttd office as per your wish date and then make arrangement yourself by train or bus . the benefit of going through ttdc is that you can have darshan within 1 hour.

i with my wife want to do ttdc tour from mumbai – 10 days starting ex VT. Can any one offer guidance?
ttdc tour is by rail starting from mumbai and ending at chennai.
they have no brochures on their website and thus want to have experience from the one who has done it.
are the buses a/c and as well the rooms as the arrangment is called a/c tour. how about meals? I presume the overnite is at ttdc hotels?
